The editor at a glance

The slide rail, the canvas, the prompt bar with Deck and Slide, the side panel and the top bar.

The editor works like PowerPoint, with an AI built in. Everything you see on a slide is an element you can click, move and change.

Steps

  1. 1On the left, the slide rail: click a slide to open it, drag it to reorder, click Add slide for a new one.
  2. 2In the middle, the canvas: click an element and its toolbar appears above it.
  3. 3Under the slide, the prompt bar: type what the AI should change and click Apply. Deck and Slide set whether it works on the whole presentation or this slide.
  4. 4On the right, the side panel with Insert, Design, Effects and History.
  5. 5At the top, Export, Web link and Present, the title of the presentation and Settings.

Tip: Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) for All commands: every action of the editor, searchable.

Good to know

  • Changes are saved automatically while you work.
  • Slide overview shows all slides as a grid; Standard view brings the canvas back.
  • Speaker notes appear under the slide once Show speaker notes is on in the Settings menu.

FAQ

Does the editor work on a phone?

Yes, in a narrower layout: the side panel's menu becomes a bar at the foot and the tools dock under the slide.
