Ultra Mode

The focus view and how to leave it

Ultra Mode darkens the page to focus on your prompt. Exit Focus ends the dark view; Ultra Mode stays on.

When you switch on Ultra Mode, the home page dims and a star field appears around the prompt. This focus view is only a look: it helps you concentrate on what goes into the deck.

Steps

  1. 1Switch on Ultra Mode: the page dims and the headline says Ultra Mode.
  2. 2To leave the dark view, click Exit Focus at the top right, or click anywhere outside the prompt.
  3. 3Ultra Mode stays on: the pill still shows its check.
  4. 4To switch Ultra Mode off, click Ultra Mode again.

Good to know

  • While Ultra Mode is on, the number of slides is chosen later, in the overview of the flow.
  • Upload becomes Uploads in the next steps: files are added in the flow, not in the prompt.
  • Switching Ultra Mode on again brings the focus view back.
  • On Free the hover card says Pro and Business only.
