Pictures: upload, replace and generate

Add your own pictures or generate them with AI, crop them, cut them out and choose the image quality.

Pictures go into picture frames. You can fill a frame with your own picture, one from your gallery, or a new one the AI generates.

Steps

  1. 1Open Insert → Image and choose Placeholder, Generate or Gallery, or drop a picture onto the slide.
  2. 2Select a picture frame: the prompt area turns into the picture bar with Upload image, Select from gallery and Generate AI image.
  3. 3To generate, describe the picture under Describe the image and choose the Image quality: Standard, High or Ultra.
  4. 4Click Generate image. Switch on Use current image to change the picture that is there.
  5. 5To adjust a picture, use Crop, Crop to shape or Replace in its toolbar.

Credits: A generated picture costs 1 credit at every quality. Uploads and the gallery cost nothing.

Pro & Business: Ultra quality and Transparency (pictures without a background) are part of Pro and Business.

Good to know

  • Free includes 3 AI pictures a month, Pro 150.
  • Up to three reference pictures can guide a generated one.
  • Double-click a picture to replace it from the gallery.
  • To make a deck without generated pictures, set Image generation to Never in the settings.
